Product Hunt alternatives: 72 launch platforms, checked by hand
We checked 72 Product Hunt alternatives by hand. 34 give a free dofollow link. Domain Rating, badge rules and the wait to go live for each one.

On this page
Product Hunt is one launch day on one leaderboard. Most products also launch on smaller platforms, which list them for weeks, send visitors, and link to their site. There are dozens of these platforms, and they differ on three things: whether the listing is free, whether the link counts for search engines, and how long you wait before the listing is live.
In October 2026 we checked 72 of these launch platforms by hand, on their own pages: the submission form, the pricing page, the rules, and a published listing to read the link. This is what we found:
- 34 of the 72 give a free listing with a dofollow link. 31 of them ask you to show their badge on your site in return, and 3 ask for nothing.
- 35 give a free listing whose link is nofollow.
- 3 charge for every listing.
- The wait for a free listing runs from the same day to about three months.

How we checked them
Every platform in this article has a page on Submitium with the facts we recorded and the pages we read them on. The directories page lists them all.
- Free listing: read on the platform's submission form and pricing page.
- Dofollow: the link on a published listing has no
rel="nofollow",rel="ugc"orrel="sponsored". Google explains these attributes in its page on qualifying outbound links (opens in a new tab). - Domain Rating (DR): from Ahrefs, read between October 21 and 27, 2026. It goes from 0 to 100 and measures the strength of a site's backlinks.
- Badge: what the platform asks you to show on your site, on which page, and for how long.
- Wait: the delay each platform announces for a free listing.
Submitium submits products by hand to 30 of these launch platforms. They are marked in the full table below.
The short list
If you launch on a few platforms only, start with these eight. Six are the launch platforms with the highest Domain Rating among the ones we submit to. Two, Findly.tools and DailyPings, publish your listing the same day. All eight give a free listing with a dofollow link. Prices are the ones each site showed on October 15, 2026.
1. Fazier (DR 84)
Fazier has the highest Domain Rating of the 72 launch platforms we checked. The free launch is scheduled about 30 days ahead, and its badge has to stay on your homepage. Before the free launch, the account that submits leaves 3 comments on other launches. Paid launches start at $29 and need no badge.
2. Findly.tools (DR 82)
Findly.tools is a directory of software tools. It publishes your listing as soon as its badge is on your homepage, the same day, with a dofollow link. Its paid Premium listing, $29, needs no badge and carries 4 dofollow links. Findly.tools is run by the team behind Submitium.
3. Nick Launches (DR 76)
Nick Launches runs weekly launches. A free launch is scheduled 23 to 29 days ahead, and the link is dofollow while its badge is on your homepage. The week of the launch, the account that submits votes in 3 rounds on that week's launches. Paid launches start at $19 and publish at once.
4. Smol Launch (DR 76)
Smol Launch lists you for free. The link becomes dofollow when its badge is on your homepage. Free launches are scheduled 32 to 38 days ahead, and the account that submits upvotes 3 other products launching that week. The Premium launch, $19, lets you pick any week and needs no badge.
5. CodeHype (DR 72)
CodeHype lists SaaS and AI products for free, with a dofollow link while its badge is on your site. It announces 44 to 93 days for a free launch. The Plus option, $15 once, publishes at once with no badge.
6. Launchpadly (DR 71)
Launchpadly reviews free listings within 3 days, and lists them while its badge is on your homepage. The Featured option, $9, puts you at the top of its homepage for 7 days with no badge.
7. Launchstag (DR 71)
Launchstag puts free launches in a queue of 29 to 31 days. The link is dofollow while its badge is on your homepage. The Premium option, $15, lets you pick the date and gives a dofollow link without the badge.
8. DailyPings (DR 65)
DailyPings is a directory of new software tools. Like Findly.tools, it publishes your listing the same day once its badge is on your homepage, with a dofollow link. Its Premium listing, $19, needs no badge and adds 7 days in its "Newly launched" list and a mention in its newsletter. DailyPings is run by the team behind Submitium.
All 34 launch platforms with a free dofollow link
Sorted by Domain Rating. "Badge" says how long the platform's badge has to stay on your site: as long as you are listed (Always), until the listing is live, or not at all. "Live" is the wait each platform announces for a free listing.
We don't submit to four of them. Launch Llama's badge is written in HTML, which our badge wall does not show yet. What Launched Today, Launch and Viberank give a dofollow link without asking for a badge: you can submit to them yourself.
How long you wait
Most waits are long because 22 of the 30 launch platforms we submit to publish free launches on a schedule or in a queue. Their paid options skip the wait: on Fazier from $29, on Smol Launch from $19, on CodeHype and Launchstag from $15.

Four launch platforms publish the same day: EasyDoFollow, EasyLaunch, LemonLaunch and Sky Launch. With Findly.tools and DailyPings, that makes six places where a listing can be live the day you submit.
What the badge asks of you
31 of the 34 free dofollow listings depend on a badge: a small image on your site that links back to the platform. Two rules come back on most of them:
- The badge goes on the page you submit, usually your homepage. 15 of the 31 check your homepage and 9 check the page you list. The other 7 don't say which page they check.
- It stays as long as you are listed. On 27 of the 30 launch platforms we submit to, the badge has to stay. When a platform says what happens if it goes, the link turns nofollow (8 platforms) or the listing is removed (4 platforms). On SaaSGrow, LaunchIt and TinyHunt, the badge only has to stay until the listing is live.
A platform checks your homepage, not your blog. Put its badge where it looks, and keep it there as long as the deal asks.
Ten badges pasted one by one in a footer get long, and each one removed by mistake can end a deal. The badge wall keeps them in one block: you add it once, and Submitium adds and removes badges as your listings change.

In a Next.js app, install the package:
npm install @submitium/badgesThen put the wall in your homepage's footer. It reads your project's API key from SUBMITIUM_API_KEY, on the server:
import { SubmitiumBadges } from "@submitium/badges/react";
export function Footer() {
return (
<footer>
<SubmitiumBadges />
</footer>
);
}The package also works with Nuxt, SvelteKit and Astro, and with a few lines of code on any other server.
Well-known platforms with a nofollow link or a fee
Some of the best-known Product Hunt alternatives are not in the table above: their free listing gives a nofollow link, or they only sell paid listings. A nofollow link still sends visitors, so launching there can still be worth it. It just does not count as a recommendation for search engines.
- Uneed: the free launch's link is nofollow, except for the products at the top of the day's ranking. Both paid options publish the launch with a dofollow link.
- DevHunt: the link is dofollow on the paid launch, $19, which also lets you pick the week.
- Microlaunch: launches are paid, from $39, with a dofollow link.
- BetaList: listings are paid, and the link to your site goes through a redirect.
Communities: Hacker News, Indie Hackers and Reddit
These are not launch platforms. Nobody lists you for weeks: you write a post, people reply, and the post moves down the page within a day or two. They are worth a post when you can answer questions the same day.
- Hacker News: a Show HN (opens in a new tab) post is for something you have made that people can try. Its rules exclude landing pages and sign-up pages, and ask you not to have friends upvote.
- Indie Hackers: a community of founders who share what they build and how it grows, at indiehackers.com (opens in a new tab).
- Reddit: subreddits such as r/SideProject (opens in a new tab) accept launch posts. Each subreddit has its own rules on self-promotion: read them before you post.
How to launch on several platforms
- Write one listing and reuse it. A name, a one-sentence tagline, a longer description, a square logo and two or three screenshots cover almost every form.
- Add the badges before you submit. Most free listings check for their badge on your site before they go live.
- Submit to the same-day platforms first. EasyDoFollow, EasyLaunch, LemonLaunch, Sky Launch, Findly.tools and DailyPings publish the day you submit, while the scheduled ones wait in their queue.
- Keep the dates in one place. With launches from the same day to three months out, one list of what goes live when saves checking 30 sites by hand.
Submitium does these steps for you. We submit your product by hand to the 30 launch platforms marked in the table and to other directories, follow each submission until the listing is live, and keep their badges in one badge wall. See the pricing and the full list of directories.
